Expert Witness in Court
Im going to court today to appear as an expert witness! No its not real, but for my course. Im all dressed up in my sis suit, and would u belive ive had to remove my piercings and jewellery (but im keeping my cheek piercings in!) Its just a role play thing, ive dressed up smart that should be enough. Am very scared, gonna be cross examined by a scary lecturer, not looking forward to that! Will tell all how it goes. xxx

So it was ok. Feel bit upset its all over actually, cos i get well excited b4 hand, but afterwards u just think about everything that went wrong!
The defence (my lecturer) was trying to reduce my scientific support, but i stuck to it, saying "in my opinion i think there strong scientific support" - to suggest the victim had been in contact with the suspect.
I was refering to a journal as a basis for my evidence, and the judge tryed to rule it out saying it might not be admitable as evidence, because they hadnt seen it before and might not have been peer reviewed but it is, so if that actually happened, im sure my evidence would have been fine.
Also at one point i think i didnt know the answer so i said "err Yes?" and the judge as like "DO remember ur under oath!" lol Which is quite funny.
Well anyway most other people have finished everything now, but i as usual still have work to do. So now im going to write a 1000 word essay on the individuality of fingerprints! Nice.
PS i looked wicked in my sis suit!
