Something Very Strange is Happening
Very strange in deed.Ive seen into the future and it doesnt look pretty.We are going to be taken over by ZOMBIES! I hear you laugh, but this is serious.This morning i woke up at a time much earlier than i should (6.45) after having a nightmare. In the nightmare i was fighting off ZOMBIES! who were possibly trying to eat my brains (as ZOMBIES do). I manage to go back to sleep by telling my brain not to think any more horrible thoughts. When i do properly wake and get up, my New Scientist comes through the door and what does it have on the front cover? Ill tell u. "Conciousness, Mud-slinging and the ZOMBIE nation". Mmmm, I am a bit taken aback by this but think nothing of it and carry on with my day by checking emails etc. What do i find waiting for me from Volatile, only this message!:Aaaargh! ZOMBIES -http://65.127.124.62/south_asia/4483241.stm.htmNow either he can read my mind, or i had a premonition, but basically i think we r all going to die and come back as brain eating ZOMBIES! I however will live slightly longer than most, cos if u remember i am fighting off the ZOMBIES in my dream, so i obviously havnt become one yet.The thing i guess we should worry about is if i have a dream whereby i Am a ZOMBIE, and that means i guess theres no hope for anyone.Should we all start to panic?I think so.posted by Emzy. 11:08 AM

I just finished my 1st management shift at work! It was for a band called The Frames. Wasnt very busy, and didnt have any problems, except the gas running out on the post mix, but that wasnt till the end so ive left it for someone else to do (cos i dunno how to change it). I did have Lauren (my friend) quit on me though, which is v bizarre. She didnt turn up to work, so when i called her, she was like "oh i forgot it was ur first shift, im sorry Emily" So didnt really know what to make of that, but its all good.New bike should be arriving soon, otherwise i gotta get on with my coursework and dissertation. Blah, 2 of my housemates told me today they have finished theirs already! Amazing. I have taken all of next week off work though so all of my time is going towards uni. Ive got a new bike on its way, greatfully accested from my Aunt. Thing is its yellow (will be doing a paint jobby on that!)Worked like ALL day yesterday, but it was ok, will be getting a nice pay check next week.Only 2 weeks left to do my dissertation, im getting scared.This fri is the sports ball, which ive got a fantastic outfit lined up (bought a wicked skirt tutu in Camden on fri) All i need is a top and some pretty little ballerina type shoes to go with it (which i failed to buy today)I finally got Liam a new bar for his Ampallang, tried it out today, v nice Grrr ive just been asleep, now im never gonna get to sleep later on. How annoying.Ive just put some music on and now cant remember what i was gonna write about, oh well. (Paul Simon - Graceland)Am going Rude girls and wanna go TG too, but my card got hacked and need to wait for my new one to arrive b4 i can buy anything else!Glade tickets go on sale wed. There are certain mysteries in life that sometimes might never get solved. An example is of where did my bike get to? and why is my comp running so slowely lately? I dont know the answer to these questions, but i sure as hell am gonna try and find out!I prob cycled to work and walked home so hence leaving it there, but i do most certainly remember cycling home after work tues, putting it away, and not using it yesterday, hence it should still be in the alley where i left it. But its not.As for my comp, well i needs a good ol clean methinks, Too big of a job for the mo though, so will have to wait.I now am heading out to the pub as it is my 1 day off this week Yeay.Tom i am having more leaves grown on me.xxxposted by Emzy. 6:52 PM

So slap my wrist, but Liam just left, he stayed over the night.Fri night was cool, was working in the theatre so didnt have to deal with Boogie. Lauren graduated on fri so i invited her over after work for a drink, and it turned into a mini party it was great. Didnt get to bed till 4 and had to be up to work at the junction at 9.30. Was such a boring day at work, had like no customers. Fin at 6pm when Lauren called me to do a huge favour for her, which was to drive her sis to London cos she was really ill. Now i had planned on getting an hours kip b4 getting ready to go out to Big at the Junction, so instead i drove Katie (laurens sis) to about 15 mins away from my parents house. So we stopped of to say hi just in time for tea! has bout 30mins lay down then set off back to Cambridge!We got back to Camb bout 11.15, got ready to go out and headed for the junction! It was a cool night cos loads of people were there. Afterwards we went to Stus place for a bit, but i had to go lay down, so fell asleep in Stus bed and woke up bout 11.30. Then me Lauren and Leo headed to the Swan for some foodage, then headed to the Fort St George. Thats where we met up with Liam (or rather he was there too). Was a bit emotional at first, but we ended up kissing and stuff it was nice. He hurt his leg while playing with his friend, so we got a cab back to my place, watched a movie and went to sleep. It was so nice to have him to cuddle all night.I dont think anything has changed, cos i still got uni and stuff and he doesnt wanna screw that up for me, and i dont want him to either.I guess ill just see him round.xposted by Emzy. 3:10 PM

Who'da thunk it, writing a dissertation is actually quite hard. But im on my way, have got down 1600 words so far. I just hope that its all ok. Im still no where near wroking out my results ive got, its quite complecated, but im getting there slowely. I just hope it get it all done in time!Arrggggh.So much work to do, but at the moment im coping. In a few weeks though i might actually start turning mad, yes more mad than i already am. Cos i failed to get Glasto tickets this yr, ive made it my aim to go to everyother festival during the summer. I bought my infest ticket today. I not been there b4 so hopefully that will be fun! I also considered going to Download, however the price of the tickets is £130. That is the same price as Glasto. Now Glasto absolutely rules, and has like 10 stages, not to mention how big it is. Download has 2 maybe 3 stages with 2 areas. To me that doesnt compare. So im finding it hard to bring myself to pay that much to go.Ive had progress in trying to get to glasto in otherways. I will def work to go there, and my dad got some info bout working the bar there through a union or something, so ive emailed the guy about it, and hopefully that will get me somewhere! (fingers crossed)I will also be going to Glade this yr, as i heard from many people how wonderful it was last yr, and how much id love it being a hippy. So when they go on sale in a few weeks, ill def be going there! yeay. The summer rules.I do seem to be forgetting bout all the work i gotta do b4 then though!arrrghxposted by Emzy. 11:53 PM

Well ive just finished the longest shift ever! Started at 12 today, then had a 45 min break about 6pm, then carried on into working warning at night till 2.45.Thing is, cos this past week ive constantly been on the go anyway, it sorta just feels like normal to me.Lots of people r going to have fun tonight, but ive gotta do uni work tom, so i dont wanna go out. Besides, this past week ive been out 4 nights in a row living it up. i really just wanna rest now.Its annyoing, but i feel lonely right now. Coming back to Cambridge really brought reality back to me, and i just feel lonely, cos i dont have Liam :(I txt him tonight, which i prob shouldnt, but he hasnt replyed anyway, cos he prob asleep. I just wish he would give up smoking. Cos if he was willing to give up smoking weed and tobacco, like now, then id take him back, cos im positive that its his smoking which i dislike about him.:( oh its really annoying.posted by Emzy. 3:04 AM

Im back from tour, had a wicked time, and am quite tired. I met a really cool guy out there called Col who is a tattooist who works in Luton and he was fine! Might have to take a visit to him at some point!Not really much to say right now cos im still recovering from the week, really need some more sleep (had about 3 hrs sleep on average every night) Plus with the alcohol, its not gotta be good for you.Not working tonight so that cool, but am working pretty much all day tom :(Get my loan on Mon so im gonna have to make another app. for my tattoo to grow some more! Yeay.Its nice to be back, but also not nice to come back to all of my issues i left behind and forgot about while i was away.
